Allies and Axis are based on a space Capture The Flag map, with two big castles. The map features a good sniping spots, but artillery and airstrike supplies have to be stricly limited! This map is done with aim to get as close as possible ot the original, 32 spawn point per team. Another version of the CTF-Face remake will be released, with an additional alternative ways and better spawn-protection.
To the horror of the Allied forces the Axis have managed to construct a monster sized cannon in the same vain as the Dora railgun back on Earth, only difference is that this new weapon named Wolkekanone runs on tank style treds rather than rail track. A test fire of this weapon is due later tonight if succesfull it wont be long till the tred system is operational and the weapon deployed on the battlefield. Allies must knock out this weapon before the test fire to avoid certain doom.
1946, North Norway. Briefly after end of war, a secret Elite-Commando fled consisting of former coworkers Werner von Braun's to north Norway and built an enormous, self-sufficient underground aircraft factory. The purpose was to manufacture newly developed Reichsflugscheibes which placed every other fighter or other missile equipped with completely new technology into the shadow. The new fuel of this so-called Reichsflugscheibe, contained an up to then unknown chemical-toxic substance, those the missile on the 5-fold Speed of sound brought (Mach 5). A goal of the Allieds is it to infiltrate the Elite-Base and that just finished and successfully tested prototypes of the Reichsflugscheibe. Destroy both Reichsflugscheibes and Steal the Secret Documents! The code name of this secret operation is "Silver Penguin".
We've not had anything related to Wolfenstein for a long time so these (speculative) concepts sketches come as a bit of a relief to Wolf fans worried about the silence.
A bit of history; the artwork you're about to see is by an artist that's done some concept work for Raven before (the developers behind the upcoming Wolf), you'll see a lot of his previous work for Quake 4 on his site. These Wolf concepts are more than likely 'dead' ideas which haven't made it into the game, which is why they should have been cleared for public showing (if not I'll pull these and the links as and when); but they definitely give a clear idea as to the art direction and style of what we can expect. You can see the rest of them at his web site. NOTE: keep in mind this is not confirmed artwork so think of them as 'speculative' visuals for the game; this is the artist just pimping his skills;
The town of Negoshk is the mainpoint of the Axis Supplement Routes in the North. Therefore the Allied Forces planned to destroy their ammo depots. To be successful the Allied Forces have to steal a tank right out of an Axis City Outpost to destroy the City Gates to enter the Inner City and destroy the Ammo Depots.
Vous devez posez les caisses d'or qui se trouvent devant votre spawn dans le camion qui est en dessus du spawn de votre ennemi. Pour y acceder vous devez utiliser l'un des deux canons au centre de la map.
You must pose the gold cases which are in front of your spawn in the truck which is in top of the spawn of your enemy. To reach it you must use one of the two guns in the center of the map.
Sie müßen die Goldkisten aus dem Lastwagen stehlen der sich vor dem Spawn des Gegners befindet. Um dorthin zu gelangen, müßen Sie eine der zwei Kanonen im Zentrum der Map benutzen.
"Although Mega Texture doesn't actually use brushes for the terrain itself that doesn't mean a 'traditional' brush based terrain entity can't be used in the production process, in fact, doing so may make it easier to make a Mega Texture terrain.
A new tutorial has just been added to the tutorial list answers a few questions and walks through the process of how you can indeed use brush based terrain objects for Mega Texture terrain (in the upcoming Quake Wars).
So 'yes', you can use GTK Radiant and other terrain editing tools to build a terrain for use with Mega Texture.
The tutorial also includes some short video clips showing the process as well as the usual images and text to read through. You'll be making Mega Texture terrain before you know it, and that's before the game comes out, well, the mesh part anyway!"
The battle front is constantly advancing within german lands. Allies have reached the small town of Bergheim that they need to take over in order to have an advanced settlement. It's a strategic position for the outcome of the war.
The Allies have control of Caen and have set up a Battalion Headquarters across the river. The Axis are trying to regain control of the town and get to a broken down tank, break into battallion HQ, and steal combat intelligence.
Fix 1 Changes:
fixed and added voice commands
changed background noises
tank fire sooner to the hq
river with animated clean water
1 missing texture added
20 min mission time, 17/23 sec attacker/defender respawn time
Have you ever wanted to do something, but didn't how? This was his problem. His fascination with the occult led him to the conclusion that the Egyptians were on the right track with their burial techniques... and he wanted to be on that train! What was the dilemma that he faced? He didn't have a ticket stubb...or more to the point, the mummification technique was a mystery to the Third Reich.
With this thought in mind, the Leader sent his army to Egypt with orders to procur a mommy and transport it back to the Fatherland for research. The problem with secret plans is, they don't stay secret for very long... the Allies get wind of this expedition, and send their own forces to stop the Axis aggressor.
The Germans have no idea the Allies are on their way to stop them, will this fact make a difference in the grand scheme of things?
