FiringSquad has a brief update on the new Wolfenstein game coming out of the QuakeCon id Software press conference. In addition to Raven Software, Todd Hollenshead revealed that Threewave Software will also be involved in the development of the new Wolfenstein game, specifically on the multiplayer side. In the past Threewave has contributed levels for Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, RtCW: Tides of War and Jedi Knight II: Jedi Academy; as well as the Capture the Flag gametype and all of the levels for DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil. Threewave is located in Vancouver, Canada, and for all of you job seeking designers out there, they appear to have a number of vacant positions.

ETPub 0.6.2 is released! Even if this is a bugfix release (it fixes the infamous "flickering" player bug, plus a minor bug), everyone that runs 0.6.1 is encouraged to install this new version. Please visit ETPub.org for further details.
"It's a Wrap!" is a Win32 DLL that adds some movie making functionality to OpenGL games.
Create motion blurred images using temporal anti-aliasing.
Configurable background color for green screening.
Configurable output directory for captured images.
The DLL has been tested with Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, but should work in all Quake 3 engine games. Quake 3 movie makers may be better off using Quake 3 Movie Maker's Edition though.
Important! Please read before attempting to use "It's a Wrap!":
This is an OpenGL wrapper dll, and playing online with the dll will get you kicked and possibly banned by PunkBuster. Please use a separate installation of the game, this way you can keep PunkBuster disabled in case you accidentally connect to a server.
Axis must keep the decrypted documents until the reinforcement to arrive. First they must save the doors witch are very good protection. Secondary, they must keep control of the transmitter witch is the key of salvation.
Allies have to get back the decrypted documents to their brain trust in order to change the code and change their war plans. They must enforce this axis basement, begining by doors to get decrypted documents back home.
After Allies have built the Beach Assault Ramp for the 5th time it can only be destroyed by dynamite.
Bunker Assault Ramp near the North-West MG Nest available (see the command map for location). Allies can build the Bunker Assault Ramp by using the materials inside the bunker.
Axis can rebuild the Backdoor. Allies need dynamite to destroy the Backdoor for the first time. For all subsequent attacks also satchels can be used to destroy it.
Axis can spawn near the backdoor as long as the Axis command post is up and running (this is different from the ETPro map script where Axis spawn at the command post).
The command post and Axis MG nests are already built on map start.
The Generator and the Backdoor are decoupled, so the Generator does not open or close the Backdoor - it does only operate the doors near the Gun resp. the door at the bunker front.
The MG42 nests in the East Bunker (near the Command Post) are removed.
This zip contains enhanced mapscripts for Railgun, based on the ETPro 3.1.13 mapscripts. The mapscripts provide 2, 4 or 6 additional spawn positions at the upper level of the Tower near the Railgun. You can choose the number accordingly to server size resp. style of play.
The "Axis Tower Spawn" is enabled at mapstart. It will be disabled when Axis capture the "Depot Yard". When Allies recapture the "Depot Yard", the "Axis Tower Spawn" is enabled again. The "Axis Tower Spawn" gets disabled permanently, when Axis transported the ammo back to the crane, i.e. when Axis have to drive the 2nd tug.
1946, North Norway. Briefly after end of war, a secret Elite-Commando fled consisting of former coworkers Werner von Braun's to north Norway and built an enormous, self-sufficient underground aircraft factory. The purpose was to manufacture newly developed Reichsflugscheibes which placed every other fighter or other missile equipped with completely new technology into the shadow. The new fuel of this so-called Reichsflugscheibe, contained an up to then unknown chemical-toxic substance, those the missile on the 5-fold Speed of sound brought (Mach 5). A goal of the Allieds is it to infiltrate the Elite-Base and that just finished and successfully tested prototypes of the Reichsflugscheibe. Destroy both Reichsflugscheibes and Steal the Secret Documents! The code name of this secret operation is "Silver Penguin".
This is a fun map for panzerwar. The gravity is set to 200 that you can go everywhere. Almost all the platforms are moving so it really looks like space. At the bottom of the map is a jump platform that launches you back. It's pure for fun so have some.
