Playing Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Introduction Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars™ is the ultimate strategic shooter: an objective-driven, class-based First Person Shooter set in the Quake universe. In the battle for planet Earth, you must choose your side and your role in the battle.
The two playable armies in Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars are distinct from one another, creating a totally unique gameplay experience based on which allegiance you select.
The Strogg: An invading force with a single goal, to destroy humanity via Stroggification, and the advanced technology and weapons to accomplish it.
The Global Defense Force (GDF): Earth's only line of defense, set out to protect their home and her inhabitants with their military arsenal.
On each side, you must choose what role you want to play on the battlefield. Every mission and objective requires different capabilities and the best players do specific jobs to help their team reach ultimate victory.

Charwoman Ilse is preparing for dust bunnies hunt.
There she was once again, the dragon-lady of IT. Our charwoman Ilse was working in our server-room this morning. We had always a bad feeling about letting women deal with our technology, but she had heavy buzzwords on board, like emancipation, equality and sentences like: 'I have cleaned computers already when you were still shitting your nappy!' Well, from that on she kept the dust bunnies out of our server-room. Today she let flow her creativity and thought she should look into the harddrive if there is not one of the dust bunnies hidding. You know already the result. But in return you can now see yourself in the harddrive-case and check your 'look' and that is also important. Says Ilse.
We injected the backup from this morning into the database, so all data should be recovered. At the moment the SL is running on half of its power, because the disc-array is synchronising itself. This could take several hours, but after that, the SL runs with its usual speed. Meanwhile Ilse gets a crash course for handling the serverroom so she can return her nickname 'datadestroyer'.

P.S.: Of course ladies can handle technology right, but not Ilse!
PanCake made two packs for xfire, one without voice (something like the 'push' sound instead of the beep) and one with voice (something like the 'oops' sound instead of the beep).
This skin mod adds either Black Leather Jackets or vests to the 4 styles of Axis Mechanics used through out the game. These changes alter the appearance of the Axis Mechanics so they look alot less like the Blackguards Jumpsuits, yet still maintain a uniform look!
Most of the different Soldiers and Elite Guard-Honeys have quite a few "Skin" mods available already!! Come to think of it, even Helga has her own "Skin" mod! If your going to upgrade your Soldiers & Elite Guard-Honeys, you might as well upgrade your Mechanics as well! Let's not forget that the Axis Mechanics are killers too and do come packing "Heat". However, next time they brandish that German Luger.. They will be dressed to kill!

The New Black Leather Jackets resemble Bomber/Biker style and look very good! To round up this offering, I reworked the Mechanics Caps as follows:
Darkend the Cap from Gray to Black.
Custom Cap-Bill ... Black Leather instead of Cloth.
For 3 Mechanics Classes / Custom Insignias on front.
Axis found a new companion in there conquest of europe. Count dracula will join there forces with his army of vampires. Special allied troops were send to finish the job in which van Helsing failed...
It's a remake of level E1M1 from the original Wolfenstein 3D. That sort of decided the name... The X and Y directions are exactly the same as the original... but the ''Z'' is pwn3d by me! ~The Pirate
When a mapper gets bored and run out of ideas, what do you do? Usually a remake of Doom E1M1. But... what started the FPS genre before Doom? Wolfenstein 3D! This is my modest tribute to W3D, and all the happy hours I spent playing it.
Additional Credits to ID Software for the wonderful games they make, and for letting us play along, sharing their efforts with us, behaving like friends, instead of infesting their software with DRM and treating us as thieves...
NoQuarter is back with a bang! We spend near a half year to make NQ better than ever before and packed the mod with near countless bigger and smaller fixes in code and assets. Especially for the assets-part not every fix is listed, because it would be to much. One thing that most people awaited to hear: The lags are gone & the hunkmegs-problem is solved! NQ is now not more lagging than other mods.
UPDATE:
The .dll for Windows servers is fixed. In the previous version Windows servers was crashing because a tag line was missing. The downloadfile has been updated, download it again if you're running a Windows server. Many thanks to sl.Sonyfan for reporting the bug and to S.S.Hot Rocks for the quick release of the fix!

Currently NQ 1.2.3 ist not supported by PunkBuster which will hopefully fixed soon. Disable it for now otherwise windows user (only!) get kicked by Corrupted File/Memory [124008] error. We know this occures since last punkbuster update and all mods under development have this issue. We have created a trouble ticket at EvenaBalance, please do not spam their ticket system.
